1. Have an open mind, keep an open eye. Observe. Observe. Observe. To serve the integrity of this mission, learn everything you need to know about the eyes you choose to borrow before you start speaking for them. Practice listening and speak knowing that you have a solid amount of knowledge backing up your written observations.
2. Be adventurous. Choose eyes that see a world that is not similar to the world you see through your eyes. Challenge yourself. Choose things you cannot particularly relate to and learn about them. Listen enough to be able to speak for them. Immerse yourself in new perspectives and take chances with undiscovered territories.
3. Leave your own opinions at the door. Step into each post with the pure purpose of seeing through the eyes you borrow. As a writer, keep reminding yourself that this is about how well you can imitate the voice of the person or thing that you are representing. As a reader, keep in mind that the posts do not necessarily reflect the thoughts and opinions of the authors; nor do they necessarily contradict them.
4. Do not reveal the identity of the eyes until the end of the post (that is, do not mention it in the title). The object/person is identified in the "Labels" section at the end of each post.
